Synopsis
On an isolated island on the outskirts of Taipei, a mysterious young woman and a lost man cross paths. Together they explore the island's hidden stories, seeking longing, belonging, and transformation in a world where time and memory fade into mist.

Chu Chun-Teng
Chu Chun-Teng received his MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2010. He initially majored in Film Directing and Cinematography, with his undergraduate short film, The House of Sleeping Beauty (2006), inspired by Yasunari Kawabata's novel. The film received international recognition and was selected at festivals such as the 28th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the 19th Singapore International Film Festival…etc.
After completing his B.A. in Film, Chu shifted his focus to contemporary art. His work explores themes of individual existence, social hierarchy, and political conflict, reflecting the dilemmas of modern society. Spanning film, expanded cinema, and contemporary art.
His works have been showcased at major festivals and art institutions worldwide, including the 7th Seoul International Film Festival, the 2014 Taipei Biennial, Kunsthaus Essen, Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum, Glasgow Center for Contemporary Arts, and Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art.
